A 64-year-old minibus driver has been arrested in Hong Kong after his vehicle rammed into and partially derailed a Light Rail train in Tuen Mun, injuring 12.
The Lok Ma Chau-bound minibus collided with the train at around 12.43am on Sunday on Tsing Lun Road in the New Territories town.
A source said the minibus driver allegedly “saw the wrong traffic light”, causing the accident.
The front of the route 44B minibus was severely damaged and its windscreen was shattered, while the train was partially knocked off its tracks by the collision.

The driver was trapped in the minibus but firefighters later freed him. He sustained leg injuries in the crash.
