North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s first trip to China in over six years — this time with his daughter in tow — has kicked off yet another round of speculation about whether the girl is his designated heir.
State media showed the daughter, widely thought to be named Ju Ae, standing behind her father when he stepped off his armored train at Beijing station. While coverage did not report on her activities in China, she appeared again with him in photos of his return to Pyongyang and later in state TV footage of Kim at the DPRK Embassy in Beijing.
