North Korea has banned Western businesses from participating in its autumn international trade fair, allowing only Chinese and Russian participants to join the scaled-down event in the latest sign of Pyongyang’s selective approach to reopening its borders.
Young Pioneer Tours (YPT), the organizer of a business delegation to the 17th Pyongyang Autumn International Trade Fair scheduled for Oct. 27-31, announced the cancellation after North Korean authorities revoked invitations for all countries except China and Russia.
