Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping hold talks in Beijing, day after China’s military parade

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping held “in-depth” talks in Beijing on Thursday, marking their first face-to-face meeting in over six years a day after watching China’s V-Day military parade together.

The Chinese state-run Xinhua News Agency reported at 7:06 p.m. KST that Xi had met with Kim at the Great Hall of the People. Photos showed Kim and Xi shaking hands in front of North Korean and Chinese flags, as well as the two leaders and officials from both sides seated across from each other in a long hall.
