North Korea, Russia ink deal on expanding law enforcement cooperation

North Korea and Russia have inked a deal to deepen cooperation on law enforcement, with Moscow offering its know-how in solving cold cases and urging joint efforts to tackle drugs, human trafficking and terrorism threats.

The new cooperation agreement, signed by DPRK social security minister Pang Tu Sop and Russian Minister of Internal Affairs (MVD) Vladimir Kolokoltsev, upgrades a 2005 deal by expanding collaboration to include information technology and other issues, Pang said in a video released by the MVD on Tuesday.
