North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrived in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon aboard his armored train, according to state media, a day before he is set to attend a military parade alongside Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kim arrived around 4 p.m. local time, while photos showed that he brought along his young daughter and presumed chosen successor to his family’s hereditary dictatorship for the important diplomatic trip.
