North Korea demands UN aviation watchdog investigate ROK drone incursions

North Korea has once again formally demanded that the U.N. aviation watchdog investigate alleged South Korean drone incursions into its airspace, accusing the organization of double standards after it rejected its last complaint.

Pyongyang has filed at least four working papers with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the upcoming 42nd Assembly session set for Sept. 23-Oct. 3, records show, urging the watchdog to carry out a “full investigation on the Council meetings related to the DPRK from 2022 to 2025.”
