North Korea showed off changes and upgrades to its largest new warship at a ceremony on the west coast on Sunday, after six months of post-launch tinkering and ahead of its planned deployment to the east coast early next year.

Leader Kim Jong Un toured the ship with hundreds of military and party officials and sailors at Nampho Port as part of the “Defense Development-2025” weapons expo, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Monday.
