WIRED Featured Deals

The Best Lighted Makeup Mirror Is $13 Off

Top pick in our guide to the Best Lighted Makeup Mirrors, the Fancii Taylor is large enough to see your entire face but compact enough to fit into the average purse. The light, which has natural daylight, soft white, and neutral white modes, charges via USB-C in just over an hour and lasted our tester for around a month. It’s not on sale very often, so this is a great chance to grab it at more than 25 percent off—as of press time there’s also a coupon that knocks another $8 off.

Healthier Hair, for Less

Filtered Shower Head

Filtering tap water for drinking and cooking is a no-brainer, but what about the water in your shower? Most municipal tap water contains added chlorine for disinfectant purposes, and pipes can add heavy metals and minerals—all of which can potentially irritate skin and damage your hair. Aquasana is the only shower water filter we tested that comes with independent testing data backing up its claims for chlorine-based systems. This is actually a great deal at 20 percent off.

Travel Dry Shampoo for $11 Off

Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste

When I tested this zeolite-based paste for my guide to the Best Dry Shampoos, I liked that it wouldn’t spill or make a mess, and that it doubled as a sort of pomade. If you were ever curious about it, this is about as cheap as you’ll ever see it on sale. As a bonus, because a tiny bit goes a long way, the container lasts forever.

A Travel Toiletry Must-Have

If your favorite skincare products don’t come in travel sizes, you can either decant them into those awkward, spillable, squishable travel bottles, or you can put them in Cadence Capsules. They’re TSA-approved, totally spill-proof, super-durable, and magnetic, so they stick together on a hotel counter (as shown—I take mine everywhere) or in your toiletry bag. The lids are also magnetic and interchangeable; the Amazon set comes with labels for sunscreen, moisturizer, and cleanser. They are hardly ever on sale, especially on Amazon, so this is a great buy for gifts or yourself.

An LED Mask That’s Comfortable

HigherDose

Red Light Therapy Face Mask

WIRED reviewer Nena Farrell thought this red-light mask was both comfortable due to its top-strap design and effective, giving her glowy skin and better acne recovery. She notes that there are complaints online about fragile wiring, but that HigherDose says the issue falls under its one-year warranty.

Snail Slime Is Almost 50 Percent Off

Advanced Snail Mucin 96 Percent Power Repairing Essence Serum

This is exactly what you might think it is: snail mucus, from real snails! Just like the kind you find in your garden. It’s a present-day skin care sensation, but the use of snail mucin for beauty purposes has been around for thousands of years. WIRED reviewer Boutayna Chokrane uses this brand as part of her nighttime routine.

For Fighting Frizz

Bleu Hypersonic Heat Styling Mist

This spray in a cool recycled aluminum bottle protects up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and, when I tested it for my guide to the Best Heat Protectant Sprays, I found its proprietary Bleu Molecule Complex—comprising time-released encapsulated sugar molecules—to be very effective for tamping down frizz. I thought it left a bit of a residue over time on my heat tools, but it’s not a deal-breaker.

Popular Pimple Patches

Starface

Hydro-Star Pimple Patches

As WIRED reviewer Boutayna Chokrane says, they’re more than just trendy stickers! These hydrocolloid patches can both suck out impurities and provide a protective barrier, using the same technology that’s been used for wound care since the 1960s.
