Activists urge Seoul to co-sponsor UN resolution on North Korean human rights

Over 20 North Korean human rights organizations and activists have called on Seoul to co-sponsor a U.N. resolution on Pyongyang’s human rights abuses, publishing an open letter to South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.

In the letter released on Tuesday, the signatories express concern that efforts to promote North Korean human rights appear to be retreating under the Lee administration.
