Riley Keough looked to the Chanel spring 2026 runway to attend the Los Angeles premiere of “Jay Kelly” on Tuesday, showcasing one of the debut shoe designs from the house’s new creative director, Matthieu Blazy. In the upcoming comedy-drama film, the actress plays Jessica Kelly, the daughter of the titular movie star character, who is played by George Clooney.

For the occasion at the Egyptian Theater, Keough wore a full look from the Chanel spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which was shown during Paris Fashion Week in October. The shoes were a standout element of the businessy ensemble, eschewing the classic pointed pump design with a subtle square toe and a high vamp with a triangular outline. The shoes made use of material and color contrast with a thick glossy black trim along the beige suede upper which connected at the vamp and extended to the toe. A simple stiletto heel elevated the set.

Keough’s shoes went with a suit look, including a black cropped blazer and skirt with off-center buttons and a hemline below the knees. The look also featured a sheer top with metallic embroidery beneath the blazer.

It comes as no surprise that the “Daisy Jones and the Six” star repped the French fashion house for the premiere, as Keough is an ambassador for Chanel. She starred in the brand’s spring 2024 campaign and even performed at the Chanel spring 2025 show last year.

Matthieu Blazy, whose previous creative director post was at Bottega Veneta, presented many interesting shoe styles during his spring 2026 show last month. In addition to various versions of the shoe worn by Keough on Tuesday, the collection includes a reinvention of the house’s famous cap toe design, a futuristic-looking layered heel with cutouts and more footwear styles.
