Orlando Magic teammates Franz and Moritz Wagner reportedly signed shoe contracts with Adidas on Thursday.
According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Wagner brothers both agreed to multiyear, “multi-million dollar deals” with Adidas.
Franz has spent his entire five-year NBA career with the Magic, while Moritz opened his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics before joining Orlando as a free agent in April 2021.
The brothers have played together on the international stage for Germany as well, winning the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Franz was also a member of the German squad that emerged victorious at EuroBasket 2025.
Franz has steadily blossomed into one of the top offensive options on a Magic squad that has advanced to the playoffs in each of the past two seasons. This year, he’s averaging 22.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game on 47.4/35.8/84.1 shooting splits.
As for Moritz, he’s served as a reserve frontcourt option for Orlando but has yet to make his season debut as he recovers from a torn ACL that he suffered in Dec. 2024.
The Magic sit at 6-6 through 12 games this year.
