Located at 70-72 Bethnal Green Road, it features a mix of high-end brands known for their unique approach to fashion. They include Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mugler, Coperni, and Helmut Lang, alongside contemporary brands such as Matieres Facales, Willy Chavaria, Lu’u-Dan, Acronym, KNWLS, and Louis Gabriele Nouchi.

The store was founded by model and general it-girl Kat Qiu and Voyeurvoyeur aims to “push the boundaries of conceptual retail providing a fresh vision for contemporary luxury shopping”.

It’s a “tightly edited curation” that reflects it founder’s “belief in fashion as a fundamental component of life”.

Some the most interesting concept stores of recent decades have been founded by creative visionaries with a quirky approach to fashion. And the company said its founder “is known for her distinct aesthetic and creative point of view, having built a reputation as a cultural presence in fashion as someone whose taste resonates on industry and community levels. Writing a distinct path through the industry blending muse, model, creative, and now founder. Kat has been featured on billboards for a worldwide Balenciaga campaign, she has worked with Mugler during Casey’s time with the brand, walked for Rick Owens twice as well as been a muse for Karl Lagerfeld’s namesake”. So some strong cool credentials there then.

Acknowledging the current tough backdrop, she herself said of the new space: “Opening a store might seem like an audacious move in this climate, but to me, it’s a necessity. In a world that’s burning down faster than we can rebuild, the need for visual comfort has never been in more demand. Creating something physical, something haptic will provide all of us a stronger sense of security”.

And the company added that it’s “a powerful statement of investment into London’s retail landscape, and reaffirms the city’s role as a global destination for innovative and creativity-led fashion concepts”.
