Frederick Anderson, who has built a strong business in contemporary luxury womenswear, is taking the plunge into men’s.
The designer who won the Rising Star Award for Womenswear from Fashion Group International in 2022 has partnered with Danielle Darah, founder of Maison Limonelle, a lifestyle consultancy for menswear, wellness, home and travel targeted to high-net-worth individuals, on the inaugural collection.
The men’s line mirrors the essence of Anderson’s women’s collection, which has been described as sexy, modern and forward-thinking. The debut collection is targeted to men who are confident and have an elevated sense of personal style.
Some of the pieces in the line have a classic feeling.
“It’s an obvious extension. I’m already dressing the mother-daughter combination. What about dad,” Anderson said. “This collection is for the man who appreciates tailoring, understands luxury and embraces forward-thinking ideas in dressing — masculine, chic and entirely modern.”
The collection features suits crafted in partnership with Scabal, the British fabric manufacturer and Savile Row tailor, along with luxury separates, premium leathers, laces, crocheted pieces and knits. Anderson described the aesthetic of the line as “chic uncompromising luxury.”
The Frederick Anderson Menswear Collection will be sold online and presented through exclusive shopping events nationwide and online.
