Ali Larter brought Libertine’s hand-embroidered tailoring to Berlin on Friday, wearing the label’s ‘Body Language’ double-breasted jacket for the “Landman” Season Two premiere at Zoo Palast. Styled by Jeanann Williams, the look centered on the made-to-order piece, paired with black over-the-knee boots that appear to be suede.
Cut as a long blazer, the jacket carries Libertine’s season-defining script embroidery, with lines of hand-sewn lettering placed across the front panels, sleeves and upper back. Larter shared a close-up on Instagram, writing: “The concept is abstracted lines from love poems with the long dangling beadwork strings meant to suggest unfinished lines.” The beadwork appears in mixed densities, from tightly sequined passages to wider spaced script, while the extended fringe falls well past the hem and creates a continuous vertical line over what appears to be an ultra-mini skirt or shorts.

The jacket reflects Johnson Hartig’s direction for the spring 2025 collection, which was built around his longstanding garden references, literary motifs and mixed-surface embellishment. The season paired unconstructed dresses with tailored sets and embroidered jackets, several of which carried the designer’s signature text treatments. Crystal work appeared across denim and outerwear, while coats and shorter toppers featured the collection’s literary elements. That focus on hand-finished detail and script-based design informs the beaded construction of the piece Larter selected.

Larter finished the look with black over-the-knee suede boots. The heeled style features a slim, close-fitting shaft and an almond-shaped toe. She posed alongside her co-star, Demi Moore, who opted for a prep-coded ensemble from Thom Browne on the blue carpet.

Larter returns to “Landman” as Angela Norris, a central figure in the Norris family arc known for her volatility, loyalty and long-standing ties to the oil industry’s shifting landscape.
