Cam Newton became the fourth player to have his number officially retired by Auburn on Saturday night.

Newton’s No. 2 jersey was retired at Jordan-Hare Stadium during a game against Georgia.

Newton is the fourth player to have his number retired by Auburn following Pat Sullivan (No. 7), Bo Jackson (No. 34) and Terry Beasley (No. 88).
