As two of the most in-demand models in the world, it’s no secret that Cindy Crawford and daughter Kaia Gerber are a fashionable duo to be reckoned with. Whether walking the runway in avant-garde looks or perfecting model-off-duty moments, great style runs in the family. That was clearly the case tonight at the 2025 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles. The two hit the event in glamorous designs that perfectly complemented each other.
Gerber opted for a high-impact cherry red design covered in sequins (very reminiscent of the red-hot Versace dress her mom wore to the 1991 Oscars, alongside Richard Gere). Crawford, meanwhile, chose an intricately embellished golden off-the-shoulder number, punctuated with strands of hanging beads.

Tonight is not the first time that Gerber and Crawford have walked a splashy red carpet together. Over the years, the mom and daughter have taken a twinning approach to dressing up for events in slinky metallics, head-to-toe black, and other similar styles. At times, Gerber has even worn pieces plucked directly from Crawford’s wardrobe. (Wouldn’t you, if your mom was an iconic super?) “We recently went to an event, and Kaia found an old Alaïa dress that I had,” Crawford told Vogue earlier this year. “Nothing makes me happier. If she wants to wear something that I wore 30 years ago, what bigger compliment is that?”
While they did not go matchy-matchy this evening, the two kept those ethos in mind, both in glimmering, form-fitting column silhouettes. If there’s a better dressed mother-daughter duo, we don’t know them!
