Erewhon x Boka smoothie collaboration inspired by the Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste.
Strawberry glaze, orange cream and now…toothpaste?
Titled the Mint Condition Smile Smoothie, California-based grocer Erewhon‘s latest smoothie collaboration is the first of its kind, launched with oral care brand Boka. The frozen concoction is inspired by Boka’s Ela Mint Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste, with hints of green tea and key organic ingredients such as citrus, coconut milk, mango, and, of course, mint.

“The smoothie was inspired by the intentional ingredients and delicious flavor profile of Boka’s toothpaste,” Sarah Mountcastle Mitchell, general manager of Boka, told WWD. “We’re thrilled to launch the Mint Condition Smile smoothie with Erewhon, Boka’s first retailer and a continued strategic partner for the brand. This collaboration represents a seamless alignment between Boka’s commitment to creating products with delightful flavors and feel-good ingredients, and Erewhon’s mission to enhance the health of its community.”
Topped with a mint leaf, cacao nibs and a spoonful of coconut cream, the smoothie is just as much a sweet treat as it is a healthy fill for the smile. It’s both “refreshing and creamy,” Nathan Day, Erewhon tonic bar director and curator, said in the official press release. “It’s fresh, minty, vibrant, packed with nutrition, and the most beautiful color of seafoam green.”

The smoothie is packed with mint, mango, coconut milk and citrus.
This Boka collaboration is just one of many special-edition smoothies Erewhon has made in the last few years. From Hailey Bieber to Bella Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Scott, the high-end market has drawn more than just its usual crowd with a list of celebrity-backed blends such as Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie and Travis Scott’s non-dairy, tropical blend, Storm Storm. While Scott’s beverage arrived on the Erewhon menu in late June and stayed only for a few weeks, Bieber’s has remained a staple since it debuted at the tonic bar in 2022.
Even without its buzzy beverages, Erewhon is frequented by tourists hoping to get a taste of its prepared foods section with a side of celebrity sightings. Of the most notable dishes to try is the buffalo cauliflower, the sushi sandwich and the white bean kale salad, all of which are praised by the likes of Emma Chamberlain and Kylie Jenner.
Soon, a select group of East Coast-ers will be able to access Erewhon’s organic assortment as the grocery chain gears up to launch its first New York City outpost inside Kith’s wellness club, Kith Ivy. For now, however, anyone based in Los Angeles or headed in that direction can pick up the Boka smile smoothie for all of November.
