Families of Korean War abductees trapped in North Korea urged the Lee Jae Myung administration on Friday to make their cases the “top priority” of Seoul’s inter-Korean policy, expressing disappointment at the president’s ignorance about detainees in the DPRK earlier this week.

The Korean War Abductees’ Families Union called on the government to establish a dedicated office to address the issue of abductees and POWs still detained in North Korea.
