Fans Troll PSU for Loss vs. Iowa in 1st Game After James Franklin Fired, Allar Injury

Penn State fans are missing Drew Allar already.

PSU lost 25-24 at Iowa on Saturday night in the Nittany Lions’ first game since firing former head coach James Franklin and losing Allar to a season-ending injury.

Fans questioned whether Penn State will be able to remain competitive this season without its starting quarterback.

Viewers also trolled Penn State for being unable to get back in the win column after parting ways with Franklin.

Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer, who had taken just 39 college snaps heading into Saturday’s game, went 15-for-28 with 93 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss.
