North Korean leader Kim Jong Un marked the 14th anniversary of his father’s death on Wednesday with a customary visit to Kim Jong Il’s final resting place at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Accompanied by senior officials from the ruling Workers’ Party, government and military, Kim visited the mausoleum in Pyongyang housing the remains of his father and grandfather Kim Il Sung at midnight, the state-owned Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Wednesday.
