South Korean President Lee Jae-myung will outline his vision for the Korean Peninsula in a speech at the U.N. General Assembly in New York this month, his office announced on Tuesday, providing a high-profile opportunity to promote his plans for peace with North Korea.
“President Lee Jae-myung is scheduled to attend the high-level session of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York, U.S., starting Tuesday, September 23,” presidential spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said during a briefing.
