On Friday, Madison Beer enjoyed a date night with new flame, football star Justin Herbert, at the Los Angeles Lakers versus Minnesota Timberwolves NBA game, where the pop star elevated an edgy black look with luxe leather boots.

At the sporting event held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the “Make You Mine” singer sat courtside, showing off the glossy shoes. Earning Beer major style points, the footwear featured a pointed square toe and skinny heel. Stitching ran vertically across the top of the boots, yielding a subtle statement. Though not visible, the silhouette likely boasted a zipper closure on the back. Beer is no stranger to a black boot, having recently stepped out in New York City in a patent-leather silhouette with a rounded toe. 

As for the rest of her outfit, Beer kept things understated with a black halter tank top with a plunging neckline. On the bottom, she donned straight-leg denim rendered in a faded black wash. Beer spiced up the neutral look with high-shine gold jewelry, including larger-than-life hoops, a dainty pendant necklace and a stack of bracelets. A black leather Chanel bag provided a hint of luxury to the laid-back getup. 

Styling her long brunette hair straight, the musician sported a glossy pink pout and long, fluttery lashes. At some point during the game, she tossed on a pair of black oval-shaped glasses. Herbert matched her sartorial energy, opting for a casual black button-up, light-wash jeans, a black baseball cap and white sneakers.

Photos of the new couple went viral shortly after the game, as photographers caught Herbert shielding Beer, saving her from being struck by a loose ball. Talk about a date night neither will ever forget.
