Michelle Yeoh doesn’t shy away from a towering heel. The actress was spotted outside ABC studios on Wednesday in New York as she headed into an interview on “Live With Kelly and Mark” to promote her movie “Wicked: For Good,” and she modeled a pair of Amina Muaddi boots.

The actress opted for Amina Muaddi’s Yigit ankle boots in smooth black leather. The boots featured a sharply pointed-toe silhouette and are built on top of a double-stacked platform that elevates the entire shoe. The boots are balanced atop a high flared stiletto heel measuring 150mm, which is almost six inches.

The ankle design features an inner zip closure with a small silver buckle, which was obscured by the wide leg of Yeoh’s leather trousers. The boots originally retailed for $1,640. Yeoh wore the same boots for the “Wicked: For Good” premiere at the Paris Opera on Nov. 8.

Muaddi offers a similar design, the Angelica leather platform pumps, which feature the same platform silhouette with an ankle strap. Both the pointed upper and platform with the salmon pink sole have become a signature of the designer’s creations.

For “Live With Kelly and Mark,” Yeoh arrived to the ABC Studios in a Givenchy coat in wool jacquard with black and white animal print from the fall 2025 collection. Once inside, Yeoh sat down for an interview with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos wearing an off-the-shoulder leather jacket that matched with her leather trousers.

Platform heels are a go-to for the women in the “Wicked: For Good” cast. Similar to Yeoh, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are often also spotted in towering platform heels, which they have been wearing while they promote the Jon M. Chu directed film. Yeoh stars as Madame Morrible in the movie, which hits theaters on Friday.
