North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited a factory producing nuclear missile materials on Monday including for a “next-generation Hwasong-20 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM),” according to state media, just before he left to meet the Chinese and Russian leaders and watch a military parade in Beijing.
Kim “visited the relevant institute of the General Academy of Chemical Materials under the Missile Administration of the DPRK on September 1 and met experts in the field of the research into the composite carbon fiber material,” the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Tuesday, without specifying the name or location of the institute.
