North Korea has denounced South Korean President Lee Jae-myung for proposing a “realistic” approach to denuclearization during his trip to Washington for a summit with Donald Trump this week, while refraining from criticizing the U.S. president.
A commentary published in the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Wednesday (Korea time) dismissed Lee’s remarks as a “naive dream” that shows his “true colors” as an anti-communist “confrontation maniac.”
