North Korea will conduct an “immediate” and “preemptive diplomatic response” to South Korea’s continued military cooperation with the U.S., the leader’s sister and spokesperson Kim Yo Jong said in a statement Wednesday, without detailing specific actions.
Kim repeated the DPRK’s position on opposing joint U.S.-ROK military drills, which kicked off this week, while harshly criticizing South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.
