The top diplomats of North Korea and China reached a “complete consensus” on various international and regional issues during talks in Beijing on Sunday, according to DPRK state media, pledging to strengthen ties in line with the results of their leaders’ recent summit.
But the two sides offered few details about what North Korean foreign minister Choe Son Hui and her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi discussed during their meeting at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, amid attention on two countries’ growing alignment after a period of apparently strained ties.
