A major North Korean company is eyeing the construction of a meat-processing plant in the Kaluga region not far from Moscow, the local agricultural ministry announced Sunday, following a DPRK company’s tour of key Russian farming enterprises.

The visit by representatives of the DPRK’s Ragwon Corporation came months after the conglomerate filed a trademark application with Russian authorities seeking brand protection in the country.
