An unmanned South Korean naval helicopter crashed into the Yellow Sea last year due to North Korean GPS jamming near the maritime border, a lawmaker revealed for the first time on Monday.
According to the office of Kang Dae-sik of the conservative People Power Party, an ROK S-100 drone took off at 1:17 p.m. on April 7, 2024, but lost control and plunged into the sea near Yeonpyeong Island around 2:26 p.m.
