North Korean troops flying drones into Ukraine to support Russian strikes: Kyiv

North Korean troops based in Russia’s Kursk have been using reconnaissance drones to identify Ukrainian military positions, supporting Russian rocket strikes in the Sumy region, Kyiv announced on Thursday.

The statement by the General Staff of Ukraine’s military points to the continued involvement of DPRK soldiers in Russian military operations, months after their main combat mission in Kursk wrapped up, while providing further evidence that their activities are not strictly limited to Russian territory.
