Putin-Kim Jong Un meeting in the works for Beijing visit, Kremlin says

Russia is working to arrange a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong in Beijing this week, according to the Kremlin, with the two leaders set to sit on either side of Chinese President Xi Jinping during a massive military parade through Tiananmen Square.

Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov said on Friday that the Russian leader “will be seated by Xi’s right hand,” while Kim will take a seat on his left during the festivities in Beijing on Wednesday, citing an “official notification” the Kremlin received from China.
