Seoul’s arms procurement agency downplayed reports of defense technology cooperation between Indonesia and North Korea amid concerns that its defense partner could provide assistance to the DPRK.
Indonesian foreign minister Sugiono visited Pyongyang last week to attend celebrations for the 80th anniversary of Workers’ Party of Korea, holding talks with counterpart Choe Son Hui and signing a memorandum of understanding “establishing a system of bilateral negotiation,” according to DPRK state media.
