North Korea’s trade with China fell for the third straight month in August, slipping to the second-lowest level this year amid declining imports from its largest commercial partner and sluggish exports.
Data released by China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Thursday showed bilateral trade stood at $181.7 million last month, just above the $177 million recorded in Aug. 2024 but well below the $191.1 million in Aug. 2023.
