​Urban Outfitters’ physical expansion in key cities continues, opening its second flagship store in Manchester at the city’s Trafford Centre as the US brand continues its European expansion.

The 6,000+ sq ft store offers an “edit of style, culture, and creativity” which include its proprietary brands Masterbrand, BDG, iets frans, Kimchi Blue, Loom and Ayker.

The new location will also offer customers an edit of hand-picked vintage products, global brands and home and lifestyle products.

“We have always prioritised creating designs that are unique to us and inspire our customers to express their style. Our selection of standout proprietary brands, curated vintage products, global brands and unique home and lifestyle items are individual to Urban Outfitters and we want to continue to build on this momentum with further growth into Europe.” 

The Trafford Centre opening follows a series of new store launches this year which includes Metrocentre in Gateshead, Cork, Ireland  Freiburg and Bremen in Germany and Milan, Italy.

The latest Lancashire opening marks its 73rd European store with two more openings expected before the end of the year, it said.
