Vanessa Williams walked the red carpet at The 2026 Powerlist Celebration of Black Excellence Awards wearing a pair of floral heels Ron White designed with her in mind. Williams paired the pumps with a green dress from the Pamella Roland spring 2026 collection to the event, which took place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Friday in London.

Williams made a statement in a light green, midi-length cocktail dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. The bodice features a twist detail with dark, leaf-like appliqués embellished with metallic sequins. The formfitting silhouette and was presented during New York Fashion Week in September.

Her heels are from the limited-edition “The Devil Wears Prada Collection” by Ron White, which were designed for lead character Miranda Priestly in the London West End production of “The Devil Wears Prada Musical,” played by Williams.

She wore the Look #3 Onyx Multi shoes, which showcased multi floral embroidery on black cashmere suede. The shoes featured a 95mm, or 3.3-inch heel, as well as arch support and double padding for comfort. The shoes retail for $470.

The Ron White and “The Devil Wears Prada” collection includes shoes inspired by the show, such as laser-cut velvet pumps, pointed-toe pumps and slingbacks. The shoes are designed with the brand’s signature “All Day Heels” technology, cushioned footbeds and an anti-slip sole for comfort and safety. The collaboration was inspired by six of the shoes Miranda Priestly wore in the musical.

The shoe brand announced the collection on Instagram in November. “We are thrilled to announce that Ron White Shoes will play a big role in ‘The Devil Wears Prada — the Musical’ in London’s West End! Even more exciting, Ron’s muse, the incredible Vanessa Williams, stars as Miranda Priestly herself performing to Elton John’s original score,” the brand shared with a series of photos. “Vanessa’s elegance and iconic style have inspired each shoe design, bringing the glamour and power of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ to life in every step.”

Williams is starring in the West End production of the musical in London, which opened in December at the Dominion Theatre. The Celebration of Black Excellence Awards honors people of African and African Caribbean heritage who are shaping business, culture and society. This year’s award celebration marks the 20th anniversary of the event.
